Baraka Agricultural College is convinced the ‘Sustainable Agricultural and Rural Development' (SARD) is an appropriate development strategy in response to the economic, social, environmental and political realities of Eastern Africa. The mission of the College is ‘to promote SARD in Eastern Africa through dialogue, participatory education, training research and extension'.
